Avedon, who died in 2004, was the greatest American photographer of his generation. For In the American West, he traveled throughout five years, meeting and photographing the plain people of the West: ranch workers, roustabouts, bar girls, drifters, and gamblers."
Good / Exterior shows signs of wear consisting of some light scratching and some spots. Remainder of a small fold at the bottom right corner. Two small marks on the spine. Interior has very mild spotting on the fly leaf and very light general wear, but overall in Very Good condition.
