A large format book about the bullfighting drawings by Picasso. The book was made using a series of 3 sketchbooks by Picasso with text by Luis Miguel Dominguin (a Spanish bullfighter) and an essay by Georges Boudaille.
The illustrations were reproduced by Fernand Mourlot, the famous lithographic print house that worked with artists like Picasso, Matisse & Chagall. The book contains illustrations in color, black & white and sepia.
Good – Very Good. Including original slipcase. Slipcase has shelf wear and is a bit discolored. The book itself is in great condition. Spine slightly suntanned. Pages are crisp aside from one or two empty pages at the end that have some finger prints on them.
