A large format book about the bullfighting drawings by Picasso. The book was made using a series of 3 sketchbooks by Picasso with text by Luis Miguel Dominguin (a Spanish bullfighter) and an essay by Georges Boudaille.
The illustrations were reproduced by Fernand Mourlot, the famous lithographic print house that worked with artists like Picasso, Matisse & Chagall. The book contains illustrations in color, black & white and sepia.
Condition
Good. Including original slipcase. Slipcase has shelf wear and is very suntanned. Book itself in very good condition. Slightly suntanned spine and slight discoloration to the top edge of some pages. Pages are clean & binding is tight. Nice copy.
