Following New Orleans, with Walking in Place 2: Berlin Los Angeles-based photographer Mike Slack takes the reader on a tension-free journey through Germany’s capital. Interested in all things mundane, Slack fills the pages of his beautiful little book with photographs of easily overlooked yet characteristic sights, from building details to graffiti and other public artworks, playgrounds, trees and bushes and strangely placed objects. Slack manages to portray Berlin with photos off the beaten path, photos that inspire us to take a closer look.
