ABOUT
Vera confessed to Victoria that she was transgender on the day they kissed for the first time — it was in a park. This revelation didn’t change anything about their mutual attraction, and over the four years they lived together, they loved each other like they had never loved before. During that time, Vera and Victoria were no longer two separate people — they became one, building a home together filled with dreams and plans for the future.
The book takes the form of a visual journal, created between 2012 and 2016, through which the author, Mar Saez, attempts to enter and then describe the intimate world of Vera and Victoria. The world of a very intense romantic relationship, through which new facets of couple dynamics emerge, not better, not worse, just like any other kind of couple.
