Another Life is a book of photographs with photo captions by Leonard Freed himself, focusing on aging. The book includes a 2004 interview with the American Magnum photographer Leonard Freed (1922-2006), who was originally from Belarus, conducted by Marcel Vleugels. The texts are in both Dutch and English.

Leonard Freed, who also lived and worked in the Netherlands for a time, provides insight into his technique and motivation, revealing the key to his success. The book consists of 458 pages filled with striking black-and-white photographs, clearly arranged and presented without distractions — a powerful collection of social photography.
