"The Oppositions journal was formed as a small publication under the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies (IAUS) in New York. It produced twenty six issues from 1973 to 1984 when it was terminated as a result of the closing of the Institute itself, which, even though it started as an “anti-establishment institution of progressive architects, planners and thinkers”, turned into a “fashion able power base in New York” which “solicited mainstream patronage”. Its main significance in recent architectural history is seen in the successful introduction of European architectural theory to the United States."
This is the rare issue 19/20 about Le Corbusier.
