Another classic by Koudelka. After leaving Czechoslovakia for political asylum in 1970 Koudelka started his state of exile. For years he was stateless and travelled around with bare essentials and ‘photographing just for himself’. He started working on photographing the gypsy population, minority groups and everything that is to be exiled in some way. This book is compiled of photographs from that era, gritty & beautiful black and white images from Koudelka’s long travels.
Good. Dust jacket has some shelf wear. Hardcover in great condition. Inside of the book is very nice with slight edge discoloration.
