The earliest photograph in the series was shot in 2013 and the last, in 2023. Most of these cats have come and gone.

As I am writing this with stacks of zines and darkroom prints on my table, it is clear that the act of photographing and living are intertwined. Indeed, the photographs here are memories - both hidden, yet on full display and very physical.

Much has happened over the course of a decade. Now with a new home and a cat of my own, I look to the future with optimism.
