ABOUT
Espen Tveit belongs to that elite of photographers who renewed Norwegian photography at the end of the 1970's. He took part in the first Photographic Spring Exhibition in 1976 and showed in the National Fall Exhibition for the first time in 1979. He has since then had a number of exhibitions in Norway and abroad.
He has previously published "80-tals Runer" (Runes of the Eighties) in 1989 and "Samtidsarkeologi" (Archaeology of our time) in 1997. In "RITE" Espen Tveit photographs the mystical beauty of Nordic football areas and shows them as cult sites "seen from the future".
