ABOUT
Between 1996 and 2007 Bert Teunissen visited 9 European countries and from these travels he composed the so-called ‘Domestic Landscapes Travelogs.’ These Travelogs are photo diaries of the trips he made and are a translation of the personal reflection of his state of mind. These Travelogs are due to be published after 2010. ‘On The Road’ is an introduction to these Travelogs. A selection from the thousands of negatives produce a book that concentrates on the more that 50,000 miles that Bert traveled by car for this project. All images were shot from behind the steering wheel while driving through Europe. They were made with the Olympus Pen; the legendary half frame camera from the 60s and 70s.
