ABOUT
Part four in a series of photo stories about the life of a young Dutch woman. It follows "Neem nou Henny", "Henny een vrouw", and "Henny: 10 jaar uit haar leven".
The series began when Henny was 16 years old, and since then a new book has been published every five years. She is now married for the second time, and in the year this book covers, her third son is born. Her daily life is depicted in black-and-white photographs, while the text captures and describes the thoughts, feelings, concerns, and everyday experiences of Henny and her family in their own words. In a respectful and honest manner, the reader gains an intimate impression of Henny’s life, which she tries to shape independently.
