Totalinstallation Ørestad is an artist book by graphic designer Anders Gerning and visual artist Martin Ransby. The basic material is a series of photographs taken by Ransby in the Ørestad district. In the further work, Gerning has processed the photographs to create rhythms, sequences and contrasts. The book is dense and claustrophobic - not unlike the state of mind you can find yourself in when walking around Ørestad - an architectural project district that, built from scratch in less than 30 years, contains complex challenges and questions about the private and the public, as well as the right to the district's collective space.
