"In these Mediterranean landscapes, the traces of cultures, as well as the borders between fiction and reality are blurred. Timeless, SW plays with echoes of the past and visions of the subconscious to paint a contrasting picture of the territory. Archival images and works of art affirm the rich history of Andalusia, a sublime land that has inspired many authors. However, the desert panoramas evoke the heat of the South as much as that of the American Far West.

Tinged with a certain magical realism, the serie offers a tightrope walk between two worlds. Oscillating between the real world and that of dreams, the reader follows the journey of the photographer and his childish soul in the Andalusian landscape. Little contrasted, the pictures recall the burning of the sun, but also the gradual erasure of memories, which lose their splendor, damaged by time. Narrated by an unreliable protagonist, SW takes us to the heart of a rich universe, nourished by immutable history and volatile imagination".
